DELOS DEQ

An 8-band dynamic EQ. No cost, no catch.

DELOS Dynamic EQ interface

Overview

DELOS DEQ combines eight filter bands with per-band dynamic behavior: high-pass, low shelf, four bell bands, high shelf and low-pass. Static gain and Q establish the base curve; threshold, attack and release determine when and how each eligible band responds to signal energy.

The real-time FFT analyzer displays the source spectrum behind the response curve, while band handles provide direct frequency, gain and bandwidth editing. Exact values can be typed directly into a band's frequency, gain or Q readout, or scrubbed by dragging on the readout itself — independent of dragging the band's point on the curve. Dynamic movement remains visible at the selected band so corrective and program-dependent equalization can be evaluated in context.

High-pass and low-pass slope is selectable from 6 to 48 dB/octave per band, and optional 2x/4x oversampling reduces filter warping near Nyquist at the cost of added latency, which is reported to the host automatically. Independent band activation, post-EQ monitoring, global bypass, preset management and A/B comparison make DEQ suitable for corrective channel work, resonance control and broader mix shaping. Multichannel, surround and host-negotiated multiple-output configurations allow the same band structure to operate in compatible immersive sessions.
