DELOS C
Six compressor circuits, one clean interface.

Overview
DELOS C places six distinct compression circuits behind one shared control layout. Clean is designed for transparent gain control and bus work; Classic and Vintage introduce progressively more program-dependent movement and density; Opto uses a slower, smoother recovery profile; Punch prioritizes transient impact; Limit provides fast peak containment.
The split waveform view presents the incoming signal and the gain-reduced output together, making timing and envelope decisions visible without replacing critical listening. Threshold, ratio, knee, attack, release, makeup gain and mix remain consistent when changing circuit, so algorithm comparisons do not interrupt the workflow.
An external sidechain input accepts a routed trigger signal, with a Stereo/Mid/Side detector source selector and switchable Low Cut, High Cut and Bell filters ahead of the detector, plus an Off/Listen/On stage so the shaped trigger can be auditioned before it drives gain reduction. Preset management, A/B comparison, automatic gain and release behavior (now available on every algorithm), mid/side operation and lookahead controls — with lookahead delay reported to the host for automatic compensation — support repeatable evaluation in individual tracks, subgroups and full mixes. The processor also negotiates multichannel and surround bus layouts with compatible hosts, allowing the same compression architecture to be used beyond mono and stereo sessions.

Interface & workflow

Program-dependent gain reduction
Input and output waveforms, transfer behavior and the circular gain-reduction meter remain visible while auditioning the six circuits.

External sidechain with Low Cut, High Cut and Bell
Shape the detector signal before it drives gain reduction, with Off/Listen/On monitoring and a dedicated trigger-and-output visualizer.

Sidechain
External sidechain in action
Routing an external trigger through Low Cut, High Cut and Bell, auditioning it with Listen, and driving gain reduction from the shaped signal.
Release status
Pre-release · Final testing
DELOS C has not yet reached its commercial release. Compatibility, performance and preset validation remain in progress ahead of the planned release on 5 October 2026.
Anyone who registers and downloads an available DELOS build before 5 October 2026 will receive one additional DELOS plugin at no charge when the release catalogue becomes available. Eligibility is linked to the registration email address.
Latest release notes
What changed in DELOS C
- Fixed the macOS build's minimum OS requirement, which had accidentally been raised to macOS 15.2 (Apple Silicon only) — now macOS 10.13+, Intel and Apple Silicon
- Added a Stereo/Mid/Side detector source selector to the external sidechain, applied before the Low Cut/High Cut/Bell filter chain
- The sidechain panel now shows a running description of whichever control was last touched
- Fixed a gain-smoothing artifact that caused audible distortion at very fast attack and release times, across all six algorithms
- The active preset's name now persists when the plugin editor is closed and reopened
- Added an external sidechain input with switchable Low Cut, High Cut and Bell shaping ahead of the detector, plus an Off/Listen/On monitoring stage and dedicated visualizer
- Extended Lookahead, Auto Gain and Auto Release to all six algorithms
- Lookahead delay is now reported to the host for automatic compensation
